We invite you to check us out — our burgeoning neighborhood, artful gathering spaces, spirited vibe, hospitality in spades — and then check right in.

Archer Hotel Tysons

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

Tysons, Virginia, is home to Scotts Run — a new and growing D.C. community that’s beginning its transformation into a walkable, urban village. Nestled in Scotts Run South at the foot of the McLean Silver Line Metro Station, the hotel has easy access to the nation’s capital and Reagan National Airport. Archer’s guests can take a short seven-minute walk to Capital One Hall, a new performing arts and conference venue with shows, concerts and community arts programs already scheduled. We’re also 1 mile from Tysons Corner Center (the 10th-largest mall in the U.S.) and the upscale Tysons Galleria.

The area has a sweet history: In the 1800s, Tysons was a small crossroads near a peach grove. As the American landscape changed, so did Tysons — from its rural beginnings with a corner store to a promising regional business, shopping and residential center with a walkable, livable sense of community.

Each guest room and suite in Archer Hotel Tysons is a five-star sanctuary complete with modern, curated amenities and thoughtful details throughout. Each room type has its own urban-chic design palette (how to choose?!), along with guest-favorite five-star beds and premium bedding — with a mix of seriously comfy pillows — stylish bathrooms stocked with Malin+Goetz gentle bath amenities, a Nespresso coffee experience, books with a local connection and a daily turndown treat.

Archer sweetens your stay with a welcome gift of Proud Source Water (sustainably sourced and bottled, naturally) and locally made salted caramels from La Vache Microcreamery. Do they melt in your mouth? Yes, indeed.

AKB, A HOTEL BAR

Begin and end your day at AKB. The welcoming bar and eatery is Archer’s nod to classic hotel bars of yesteryear — with his signature twist. The artful space is an inviting gathering spot for guests and locals alike to experience the quintessential spirit of the hotel bar — with an extensive beverage menu that includes classic cocktails, vintage spirits, an approachable wine list and local (and not) beers. Grab a seat around the grand central bar, settle into one of the cozy nooks, try your hand at shuffleboard or enjoy alfresco dining and imbibing on Archer’s patio.

Mornings delight with an à la carte menu of breakfast favorites (pizza for breakfast? sì grazie), and freshly roasted Intelligentsia coffee and espresso are served as you wish: piping hot, over ice or on the run. The evening menu is supremely shareable and features fresh seafood, savory rotisserie and creative, wood-fired pizzas.

ELEGANT MEETINGS + EVENTS

Leave it to Archer and his talented hosts to make your event extraordinary. Whether for work or pleasure, Archer Hotel Tysons has a myriad of fabulous, flexible venues to fit the bill.

The pièce de resistance? The seventh-floor penthouse — a stunning urban-inspired space with soaring ceilings, crystal-clad chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling windows and tumbled-brick walls, plus an open-air, partially covered Terrace. More-intimate settings include two musically inspired salons, the main-floor Great Room (easily divisible into smaller venues) with a flowering dogwood mural and the modern-industrial Boardroom. Archer’s Living Room offers several casually elegant seating groups for semiprivate gatherings, and AKB has several options for special occasions.

STORIED ART

Each Archer Hotel pays homage to the artistic spirit of its locale; Archer Hotel Tysons showcases the work of a variety of Virginia artists throughout the property. A feature wall in the lobby is a colorful nod to all things Virginia — including the state’s unofficial slogan, “Virginia is for lovers” (100% Instagrammable). The Peach mural above the Classic King Bed produces a moment of whimsy. The seventh-floor corridor displays photographs of some the area’s beloved musicians. And each piece of curated art helps tell the story of this great state.

MOMENTS OF DOWNTIME

Everyone has a different MO for “me” time, and Archer accommodates. Fitness warriors can sweat it out, push for a PR or pump it up (all three? go for it) in the well-appointed fitness studio. A Peloton bike and Isawall training wall? Check. Matrix Fitness cardio equipment and AURA 3000 Functional Trainer? Double check. Old-school (but premium) free weights? We have those, too.

Or kick back at AKB while giving shuffleboard a go or connecting with friends, old and new, around the lively central bar or on the alfresco patio.

Want to stay in and snuggle? Order in-room dining delivery and settle in with premium channels on the HDTV. Wrap up in our kimono-style Frette bathrobes after a hot shower or long soak. Then close the blackout curtains and enjoy sweet slumber.
