Location, location, location

The booming suburb of Redmond is just 15 miles east of Seattle. Archer’s home is in the wonderfully walkable Redmond Town Center — a casual Eastside outdoor hub with more than 100 restaurants, retailers and entertainment. A short walk from Redmond’s historic downtown and just north of the popular Marymoor Park with its famed concerts, Archer also makes a handy home base for visitors to Woodinville, Washington’s winery capital.

Archer is surrounded with shopping opps: Redmond Town Center serves up fashion, jewelry, eyewear, children’s clothing, sporting goods, home furnishings, books, gifts, electronics and pet supplies. A wealth of wellness options abounds, as do salons and spas. Looking for entertainment? Walkable experiences include painting, movies, live theatre, a social gaming lounge and a seasonal farmers market.

Foodies will find just the right fare — within a short walk or rideshare from Archer. Redmond Town Center is home to  Crêperie de Paris, serving up a tempting variety of crêpes, panini and salads. LunchBox Lab offers mouthwatering “Burger Experiments” and “Lab Faves,” along with frosty adult beverages and hand-spun shakes. Walkable downtown Redmond is home to Woodblock, with its eclectic, ever-changing, sharable selections. And Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar in Bellevue presents high-end fare that’s award-winning and amazing.

Rooms + suites

Just like the accommodations in every Archer Hotel, each of Archer Redmond’s rooms and suites delivers a five-star sleep experience. Complete with premium linens, a plush mattress and a down duvet that’s just right (no matter the time of year), guests rave about our über-comfy mix of soft and firm down pillows.

Archer infuses a sense of surprise into his design sensibility. Much like the experience of staying overnight with a friend or family member, guests who stay with Archer multiple times are treated to four design palettes depending on the chosen room or suite. All options have an industrial-chic look and feel, as well as giving a distinct nod to the area’s laid-back Northwest roots.

Thoughtful details throughout the accommodations aim to delight. A welcome note and treat greet guests as they first settle in, and quirky messages accompany daily turndown treats that are made in-house or curated from local artisans. Guests love the complimentary in-room Nespresso coffee experience, and the Malin+Goetz bath amenities are gentle, effective and softly fragrant. Near-at-hand notepads highlight near-to-Archer’s-heart quotations by famous folks from the area. And the most Insta-worthy photo? The whimsical bath slippers — they’re fun, convenient and our guests’ to keep.

Storied art

Archer’s art collection ushers the spirit of the Northwest in-house. The walls and halls throughout the hotel highlight works of local artists and regional subjects; a sampling includes a colorful quilt in the Hospitality Lounge, Fortune Cookie archival pigment prints along the fifth-floor corridor, hanging wheels in the library and a black-and-white photo of Jimi Hendrix in the King Studio Suite.

AKB, Archer's boutique hotel bar

Morning and evening, AKB treats guests to regionally inspired, shareable fare and crafted pours. Lighthouse Roasters coffee, Kilogram tea and juices are offered alongside à la carte breakfast selections and specialty coffee.

Evening shareables, flatbreads and plates are served a la carte either bar-side or in-room. Ahi Tataki Bites add a gourmet twist, while the Brie Fondue is a real crowd pleaser. A selection of flatbreads, bowls and plates fill the menu — several of which are vegetarian. Or choose Steak Frites or the AKB Burger. And yes, tasty desserts are on hand for our sweet-tooth guests — including a crazy-good Salted Caramel Bourbon Shake.

Archer’s mixologists serve up classic and craft cocktails, Washington wines and bubbles, and local craft beers. Guests can meet old friends and make new ones via a rousing game of shuffleboard — a fun way to kick back and relax.
