The Inspiration
A wicked-good celebration
Mention the Boston area and you’ll be hard-pressed to not think of Ireland — the region proudly claims one of the largest Irish populations outside of the Emerald Isle.
In 1737, Boston’s community was the first in North America to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. And the festive tradition continues on an ever-growing scale, complete with parades, parties and pubs, plus copious amounts of green everything, good luck charms and inventive cocktails.
The Recipe
You’re cordially invited to AKB at Archer Hotel Burlington, where the Celtic-inspired Lucky Clover cocktail is available exclusively through March 2023. Till then, a lucky Irish toast:
May you have all the happiness
and luck that life can hold.
And at the end of all your rainbows,
may you find a pot of gold.
Ingredients
- Muddled cucumber
- 1 1/2 ounces Tullamore Dew
- 1/2 ounce Domaine de Canton
- 1/2 ounce herbal honey syrup
- 1/2 ounce lemon juice
- 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- Egg white
- Matcha-absinthe spritz
Directions
In a shaker, add first 6 ingredients. Fill with ice and shake well. Double-strain into a coupe glass. Add egg white to shaker (no ice) and shake well. Strain into the glass. Spritz matcha absinthe over a clover stencil.
Cheers!
