What a wonderful, musical world
Just in time for the swingin’ holiday season, Archer’s created a jolly Spotify holiday playlist, plus another to spin while commemorating the old and celebrating the new (or while traveling to your Archer Hotel of choice).
Archer's also looked to his collection of hotels for inspiration — check out his Spotify playlists dedicated to artists from California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
Holiday Your Way
Archer is nothing if not nostalgic. When crafting his holiday playlist, he reflected on fond holiday memories — plus his love of retro music that stands the test of time. Some of his favorites:
- “Run Rudolph Run” — Chuck Berry
- “Little Jack Frost, Get Lost” — Bing Crosby + Peggy Lee
- "What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” — Ella Fitzgerald
- “San Francisco Holiday — Take 2” — Thelonious Monk Quartet
- “Sleigh Ride” — The Ronettes
Enjoy this festive Holiday Your Way playlist on the way home from work, during gift shopping for loved ones, while whipping up favorite dishes or warming by the fire. Like Andy Williams sings it so well, “it’s the most wonderful time of the year.”
Cheers, Archer
Music is a universal language. It lifts us up and carries us along life’s trials, tributes and travels. And it’s an integral part of every celebration and special occasion.
Whenever it’s time to get the party started — New Year’s Eve, graduations, birthdays, bachelor-bachelorette parties, clean-the-house days, raise-the-roof days — give the Cheers, Archer playlist a whirl.
And turn it up.
But That’s Not All
Need some workout tunes? Going on a road trip? Really (I mean really) love music? There’s an Archer playlist for you.
For an apropos added spin, each playlist consists of works by artists with connections to an Archer Hotel locale. Cheers, Archer features Kool & the Gang (“Celebration” — an iconic party song), a hugely popular band formed in New Jersey. Irene Cara (“What a Feeling”) hails from New York, and Donna Summer (“Hot Stuff)” was born in Massachusetts. Usher (“OMG”)’s roots are in Texas. The Weather Girls (“It’s Raining Men”)? They’re California girls.
In the mood for Pacific Northwest vibes? Check out Archer’s Purple Haze list with a lineup including the likes of Soundgarden, Heart, Judy Collins, Nat King Cole, Joe Cocker and (of course) Jimi Hendrix.
Virginia lovers will get their jam on listening to Archer’s Crash Into Me list — complete with Jason Mraz, Missy Elliott, Old Crow Medicine Show, Pharrell Williams and (so much to say) Dave Matthews Band.
And the list goes on. Let the music play ...
