Archer Hotel Collection What to expect + FAQs

A bit mysterious, Archer is the collection's visionary and inspires everything we do. Our mantra is “What would Archer do?” No matter the answer, it starts with a passion for sincere service — always.

There are 5 types of Landing Pages: General, Info, Offer, Updates and Wedding. 

Wedding

  • Custom landing page for a wedding event

Update

  • Update on events concerning Archer or surrounding community. E.g Covid updates, fires around Napa, policy change, etc. If you put out a notification bar and the it's area is not enough to convey your entire message, go ahead and create an update page that you can link to. 

Offer

  • Any offer related content that will show up on Offers page. Can be hotel-specific or apply to entire Archer collection

Info

  • The most abused category. Info pages should be used when you have a lot of content that cannot be delegated to a section or does not need to live on a main landing page (or page). Legalese is a good example. Terms and conditions for a temporary giveaway event is a good example of when to use this type. Strongly consider other Landing Page types first before using. When in doubt, ask Jen, Terri or Vladimir.

General

  • If you need a landing page for a company
  • If you have a booking code
  • If the word book in the URL of the page does not look out of place
  • Mitzvahs belong here. For now.
  • Any event that is not a wedding belongs here. For now.

Pages are more permanent in their nature, while Landing Pages are more temporary. 

Use Landing Pages for: 

  • Weddings or other types of events
  • Company booking pages
  • Any time you have a booking code
  • If you need to expand on site notification and lack space to do so in notification bar
  • When you need to create an offer
  • When you need to create a page with an expiration date (e.g, wedding or update)

Use Pages for:

  • Anything about specific Archer Hotel or Archer collection
  • Any content that is expected to live on the website for extended period of time
  • Anything that does not fit definition of a Landing Page or Journal Post

Use Journal for:

  • To fulfill Archer's promise of being a gracious host willing to share his local discoveries with out guests.
  • Story-telling
  • Events around Archer
  • Highlighting our local partners

There are several potential explanations:

  • Cache. Always clear cache for the URL you are trying to test
  • You may have created the page, but the route for the page has not been built. Unline Landing Pages, Pages required a developer to build URL. However, once it's been built for one hotel, you can use that URL route for others. For example, if you know there's austin/akb-hotel-bar, you can add burlington/akb-hotel-bar
  • There is an typo in a page ID. Remember that page ID does not correspond to page URL 100%. E.g. austin.akb-hotel-bar translates to https://archerhotel.com/austin/akb-hotel-bar

     

Boutique hotels are smaller, more-intimate properties typically located in a buzzy neighborhood or city center. The boutique hotel guest values new experiences and has a passion for learning, culture and discovery. Archer Hotel is a collection of independent boutique hotels designed with intention and a strong sense of place. Our independent spirit allows us to be different from traditional hotel brands — each Archer Hotel is unique, a bit quirky and fun, and focused on our love of hosting.

Archer rewards loyal guests in several ways:
  1. Be an Archer Insider and receive early access to offers and deals by becoming an SMS (text) subscriber and get Archer’s best deal.
  1. Book your stay directly with us and receive a $25 drink + dine credit that can be used at any Archer Hotel.
  1. Stay at three different Archer properties to earn a free night for a future stay at the Archer Hotel of your choice.

Check-in begins at 3 PM. Checkout is by 11 AM.

Archer Hotel welcomes dogs — we love to host you and your pup. Please visit our policy page and select your location to read the fine print.

To protect the integrity of our guest experience, professional photography and filming are limited at the hotel. Please contact our marketing department to inquire about holding a commercial photo or video shoot.
 

We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa. We also accept cash as payment at checkout, but a valid credit or debit card must still be presented upon arrival.
