While the District offers many events and activities that day, the culmination of the festivities is a 17-minute firework display along the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Music and a show along the banks of the Charles River – the Boston Pops Concert and Fireworks Spectacular has become an American tradition of its own right.
