Five Fun Photo Ops In Florham Park

Capture the moment

Since a picture paints a thousand words, we’d love to ensure that your local photo ops are memorable, too.

The following locations are some of the top (and secret) photo-ops in and around Florham Park that are recommended by our trusted venue partners, as well as couples who have stayed and played with us.

01

Archer Hotel Florham Park

Whether for gorgeous wedding or engagement photos, capturing family snapshots or remembering your stay. Archer Hotel Florham Park offers patios and indoor spaces that will make your photos memorable.

02

Frelinghuysen Arboretum — Morristown

Once a privately owned working farm named Whippany Farm with a summer home and cottage house, the Frelinghuysen Arboretum now includes multiple gardens, an observation deck, seasonal displays, a café and The Haggarty Education Center. The property offers a myriad of photo-ops, including a gazebo, pergola, arches, fountains, benches, walking paths, open lawns, patios and indoor spaces. No matter the season, beauty abounds here.
03

Cross Estate Gardens — Bernardsville

Home of the New Jersey Historical Garden Foundation, The Cross Estate Gardens is part of the Morristown National Historical Park. All year long, volunteers and student interns take care of the gardens, which include the two-level walled garden with a pergola featuring 19 stoned columns and blue and white wisteria and male kiwi vines, plus the lawn garden, fern garden, pachysandra beds and a mountain laurel allee. Hiking trails provide fabulous nooks for the perfect photo.
04

Fairleigh Dickinson University — Madison

The university’s lush Florham Campus in Madison neighbors Archer Hotel. The majestic grounds were designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the famous landscape architect who completed New York City’s Central Park. With about 150 acres of lawn, terraces, formal gardens, the 100-room mansion, gate lodge, carriage house, orangerie and greenhouses, the Florham Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University makes a beautiful backdrop for unforgettable photo ops.
05

Loantaka Brook Reservation — Madison

A linear greenway through a lush, flat terrain park is ideal for a bevy of activities and photo-ops. With 883 acres and 9.9 miles of trails, the sky’s the limit on what you can capture through the lens at Loantaka Brook Reservation. A variety of scenery is ideal for bachelor and bachelorette pics, engagement and wedding photos, horseback riding, snowshoeing and even family photos including Fido.
