High-octane Fun at Formula 1

Formula 1 Details

The 2023 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix will take place at Circuit of the Americas in Austin October 20 – 22. Archer Hotel Austin is a 40-minute drive from the raceway, and we thought it best to offer our guests a quick glimpse into this high-octane event.

A global audience of drivers, musicians and fans turns its collective wheels to Austin each autumn for one of the most electrifying events in town. Locals, families and friends of all ages attend a range of events over three days.

This year’s event includes performances by The Killers on Friday and Queen with Adam Lambert on Saturday, while the main event known as “Race Day” on Sunday culminates the weekend.

Attendees can expect busy days filled with large crowds, loud noises, elevation changes and different vantage points. Dress is typically casual, and since the weather in Austin this time of year can be unpredictable, an evening sweater or jacket is a good idea. Archer recommends packing an additional rain poncho and extra sunscreen.

Purchase Formula 1 tickets in advance at the Circuit of the Americas website. Kids ages 2 and under are free, and the three-day general-admission ticket has gained a reputation as one of the best general-admission experiences in motorsports.

Looking for a more-exclusive experience? Check out the Paddock Club.

Circuit of the Americas recommends getting there by car or by shuttle. Planning to drive yourself? Take a look into parking passes well in advance.

Why not make a weekend of it? Enjoy the excitement of the 2023 Formula 1 races, then head to Domain NORTHSIDE and the nearby Rock Rose for shopping, eating and entertainment.

Rest easy in our luxe rooms and suites before enjoying a complimentary in-room Nespresso experience. You’ll be refreshed after a full, memorable weekend.
