Katie Kime’s Not-to-Miss Austin Recommendations

Katie's colors makes Austin a little brighter.

Katie Kime’s spirited approach to style embodies the energetic color of Austin. So, when we wanted to give guests a local’s perspective on Austin, we knew who to ask. Read on for Katie’s not-to-miss Austin recommendations.

Town Lake

As Austinites we all know this area well but I often think for those visiting it can be unknown or intimidating (how far does it go, where do I park) and yet one of the city’s gems. When friends are visiting a walk around the trail is always a must.

It’s no secret I’m an oyster fan and this outdoor locale on buzzing South Congress is always a treat, even as a local.

Alamo Draft House

Most people haven’t had a movie experience like this one and at least for me, a movie when visiting a different city always feels like such a treat.

Hotel San Jose

Even if you aren’t gonna stay here they have one of the city’s best patios and certainly the best Michelada.

One of my favorite places to shop right by ten over ten (if in need of a mani/pedi) as well as Cafe No Se. Shopping, pampering and delicious food all right beside each other.
