Spyglass Rooftop Bar Unforgettable Empire views
On the 22nd floor of West 38th Street’s Archer Hotel, Spyglass® Rooftop Bar mixologists serve up distinctive signature cocktails, plus a selection of wines, beers and delicious shareables.
And then there’s the stunning view — the Empire State Building rising up from midtown Manhattan. Inside or out, the approachable, chic atmosphere and attentive staff bring the NYC rooftop bar experience into clear focus.
The Skylark An elevated experience
Just west of Bryant Park on 39th Street, The Skylark’s beautiful lounge looms 30 stories above midtown Manhattan and the Garment District — showcasing panoramic views of the Hudson River, Hudson Yards, Times Square, The Empire State Building and a host of other iconic sights.
Le Bain Setting the rooftop standard
The Meatpacking District’s Standard, High Line claims Le Bain as one of Manhattan’s hottest spots. A penthouse discotheque and rooftop bar with admission determined at entrance, a dance floor with a plunge pool in the summer and a giant disco ball, and a rooftop creperie.
Ophelia — The Grand Terrace Atop an art deco tower
Built in 1928, the art deco Beekman Tower at 49th Street and First Avenue is now home to Ophelia — a year-round cocktail lounge with a greenhouse terrace, a five-star menu and stunning Manhattan and East River views.
230 Fifth Rooftop Bar A rooftop to remember
At the corner of 27th Street and 5th Avenue is the aptly named 230 Fifth Rooftop Bar in NoMad. Claiming New York’s largest outdoor rooftop garden, the bar also has an enclosed penthouse lounge, making this NYC rooftop bar an ideal go-to spot year-round.
Haven Rooftop Retreat in the heart of the city
West 47th Street’s Haven Rooftop rises between Sixth and Seventh Avenues atop the Sanctuary Hotel. With lively views of Manhattan, this Theatre District bar serves pitchers of margaritas and mojitos, along with a French-influenced menu.
Mr. Purple Vibrant views — and vibes
Right below Houston on Orchard Street, Mr. Purple entertains guests (and swimmers) on the 15th floor of Hotel Indigo Lower East Side. Both indoor and outdoor spaces combine reclaimed wood, concrete, festoon lighting and dramatic lower Manhattan cityscapes for a modern rooftop experience.
